Xeomin® has been used around the world since 2005 and was introduced to the US market in 2010 when it gained FDA approval.
Similar to Botox® but different
Xeomin® is similar to Botox®, but offers some important differences.
Unlike Botox®, Xeomin® does not need to be refrigerated for storage. Also, Xeomin® contains no additives—just botulinum toxin type A. This could lessen the likelihood of developing antibodies to Xeomin® which could potentially reduce the effectiveness over time.
