What is ClearSilk®?
ClearSilk® is a non-ablative 1064nm Nd:YAG laser that can be utilized to treat unwanted diffuse redness, rosacea, inflammation of acne, reduces discoloration of scars, both surgical and non-surgical. In addition to treating redness, ClearSilk® is also a “go-to” treatment for correcting hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, minimizing the appearance of pores and tightens the skin. Treatment is safe for all skin types and can also be done year around. Patients do not have any downtime and may resume daily activities immediately following treatment.
How does ClearSilk® work?
ClearSilk® heats up the dermis and stimulates fibroblasts which encourages the body’s natural repair process resulting in a decrease in fine lines, wrinkles, diffuse redness, and revitalizes the skin. By keeping the skin heated up at a desired temperature for a certain amount of time, this is what activates the repair process and gives the skin a fresh new glow.
How many sessions do I need?
Depending on the individuality of each skin condition, it is recommended that 3-6 sessions one month apart will deliver results. ClearSilk® can also be combined with other treatment options on the same day in order to maximize your results.
What is ClearV®?
ClearV® is a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser that effectively and safely targets and treats facial and body blood vessels, spider veins and broken capillaries. ClearV® is also appropriate for treatment of other unwanted vascular lesions such as venous lakes, port wine stains, cherry and spider angiomas, and periorbital veins. By applying targeted heat to stimulate the body’s natural processes of healing, it clears away vascular imperfections on the face and body.
How many ClearV® treatments will I need?
The majority of results are seen after 3 sessions about 4-6 weeks apart. A series of treatments is always recommended.
Is there any downtime for ClearV®?
Though downtime is very minimal, the goal of treatment is to simulate the blood within the vascular lesion. Expect redness and darkening of the lesions, veins may have the appearance of a “cat scratch.” Depending on the size and surface are of the treatment site, you may also experience the sensation of a mild sunburn for about an hour after treatment.
