What Is ClearSilk®?
ClearSilk® is a non-ablative 1064nm Nd laser that can address diffuse redness, rosacea, acne-related inflammation, and discoloration associated with scars. In addition to reducing redness, ClearSilk® can improve hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and mild skin laxity.

What Happens During a ClearSilk® Treatment?
During your appointment, the laser handpiece is passed across the treatment area as controlled energy gently heats the skin. You will typically notice a warming sensation as the desired temperature is reached.
Treatment does not require incisions or injections, and you can generally resume your regular activities immediately afterward. Your skin may look slightly flushed temporarily, but there is no extended peeling or resurfacing period.
Am I a Candidate for ClearSilk®?

How Many ClearSilk® Sessions Do I Need?

What Is ClearV®?
ClearV® is also a 1064nm Nd laser, but it is specifically designed to target visible vascular concerns on the face and body. These may include blood vessels, spider veins, broken capillaries, venous lakes, port-wine stains, cherry and spider angiomas, and periorbital veins.
The laser delivers targeted energy to unwanted vessels while helping protect the surrounding skin. The treated vascular structures are gradually cleared through your body's natural processes.
ClearSilk® vs. ClearV®: Which Do You Need?
Although ClearSilk® and ClearV® use the same 1064nm wavelength, they serve different purposes.
ClearSilk® is generally used when your concerns are more diffuse. If widespread redness, uneven tone, texture, pores, or overall skin quality are bothering you, ClearSilk® may be considered.
ClearV® is more targeted. It is designed for identifiable vascular lesions and individual visible vessels, such as broken capillaries or spider veins anywhere on the face or body.
Some people have both diffuse redness and distinct vessels. In those cases, your treatment plan may incorporate both technologies to address the different components of your discoloration.
What Can I Expect During ClearV® Treatment?
ClearV® delivers laser energy directly to the targeted vascular structure. You may experience warmth or a brief snapping sensation during treatment depending on the vessel and treatment area.
Immediately afterward, redness and darkening of the treated vessel can occur. Some veins may temporarily develop an appearance similar to a small "cat scratch." Depending on the size and location of the treatment area, you may also experience a sensation similar to a mild sunburn for approximately an hour.
How Many ClearV® Treatments Will I Need?
Many people undergo a series of approximately three ClearV® treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. The number of sessions required can vary based on the type, depth, size, and number of vessels being treated.
Improvement develops as your body gradually clears the treated vessels. Some vascular concerns may respond more quickly than others, making a personalized treatment plan important.
