FAQs
A series of pulses will be repeated over the treatment area to ensure best results. While the face and neck can typically be done within 30 minutes, the actual time will depend on the size of the area treated. The treatment generally feels a little warm,but is not painful and there is no need for topical anesthetic.
You may experience some mild redness in the treated area immediately after treatment and this should return to normal within minutes. Since SkinTyte™ is non-invasive, there is no downtime, so you can resume normal activities immediately following the treatment. You can also apply makeup and sunscreen after each session.
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient. Dr. Stern and our aesthetician, Kaylene will personalize a treatment plan based on the area being treated, the amount of laxity and the level of improvement you desire. Full results are generally achieved four months after your final treatment.
No Special skincare regimen is required following SkinTyte™ laser. However, as with all of our treatments optimal results depend upon using an appropriate skincare regimen. The Stern Center Team will help design the best skin care program for you to keep you looking your best for years to come!
